Amritsar, 1 June (Jagdeep Singh)- Divine Kirtan rends the air as Gurdwara Sahib Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society observed the martyrdom day of fifth Guru of Sikhs, Sri Guru Arjun Dev ji Rendition of religious hymns by the students and teachers created an aura of mysticism and spirituality. The religious program was supervised by Under secy. CKD S. Hakam Singh. Religious teacher Madam Sukhjit Kaur also put light on the life of Sri Guru Arjun Dev Ji and motivated the students to follow the footsteps of their Sikh Gurus who sacrificed their lives, comfort and families to serve humanity. Thereafter devotees partook langar, chilled and sweet Chhabeel was served to all devotees and passer by. . . Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Member Incharge S. Pritpal Singh Sethi. S. Ranbir Singh Chopra, S. S.P.Singh Walia, S. Manmohan Singh, Principal Ripudaman CKDCS schools staff and other CKD dignitaries.
