‘Ardas Diwas’ held at Khalsa College

Amritsar, July 31 (Dharminder Rataul) – To seek spiritual blessings for the start of new academic session the annual `Ardas Diwas’ was today held historic Khalsa College. Golden Temple granthi Bhai Maan stressed on the need to impart of moral education to students along with conventional dissemination of knowledge at this occasion. Renowned hymn singer Bhai Maninder Singh recited verses while Khalsa College Governing Council honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina said the society is infested with evils and social values are diminishing and asked the youth to beware of the vicious cycle of drugs that has taken the society into its grip. Chhina and Principal Khalsa College Dr.Mehal Singh honoured the dignitaries and said the religious function was part of the College management’s tradition of seeking blessings of the almighty to start the new session. Other present during the occasion included joint secretary SS Mannan, members of the management, teachers and students in large number.
