Vaccination of shopkeepers, Rehri wala, students going abroad, Sarpanches and councilors starts

Immunization drive is in full swing at 29 places in Kapurthala

 Kapurthala, June 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Punjab Government has extended the scope of covid vaccination to other categories of vaccination mainly elected representatives, shopkeepers, hospitality industry, drivers etc so that the economic activities should work in full pace to boost the economy.

            Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Deepti Uppal said that vaccination was going on at 29 session sites in the district where now the shopkeepers and their staff could get vaccinated.

            In addition, people working in the hospitality sector such as hotels, restaurants, marriage palaces, bakeries etc. can get vaccinated by showing their identity card and authority letter.

            Industrial workers can get vaccinated by showing their authority letter and identity card. Similarly, those who have juice rehris and fruits can get vaccinated with the approval of the local authority. Domestic gas LPG distribution can be vaccinated on the basis of identification issued by the concerned gas agency. Commercial RCs for bus drivers, conductors, autos and taxi drivers to be required for vaccination.

            Apart from this elected representatives like Sarpanch, Panch, Mayor, Councilors, Block Samitis and members of Zila Parishads etc. can get vaccinated by showing their official identity cards.

            Students going abroad and international travelers can get vaccinated by showing their passport, visa or other valid documents.
