Dairy Farm Manager Training Course to commence from August 13 – Director Dairy

Chandigarh, July 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  “A training course to provide self employment avenues to the youth of Dairy CowsPunjab as well as making dairy a profitable venture besides making the youth learn the ropes of this trade in order to be successful farm managers, would be commencing from 13th August 2019. The course would be of 4 weeks duration.” This was disclosed here today by the Director Dairy Development Department Mr. Inderjit Singh.

          The Director said that in accordance with the directions of the Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development Minister, Punjab, Mr. Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, the program has been chalked out by the Punjab Government to provide this innovative training.

           The Director also exhorted the youth to derive maximum benefit from this training course and further divulged that the program would begin at Dairy Training & Extension Centre at Bija in Ludhiana, Chatamli in Ropar, Gill in Moga, Abul Khurana in Sri Muktsar Sahib, Sardulgarh in Mansa, Phagwara in Kapurthala and at Verka in Amritsar. The trainees would be selected after counseling on 26th of July at 10 AM at above mentioned centres.

            Disclosing more, he said that the interested candidates must be atleast matriculates between 18-45 years of age having their own dairy farm of minimum 5 milch animals. The cost of prospectus for this program is Rs. 100 and can be had from the concerned Districts’ Deputy Director Dairy/Dairy Development Officer and all the training centres.           Adding more, the Director said that during the training program, the youth would be made to understand and adopt the latest technological innovations in tune with today’s times to make dairy a profitable venture, Keeping expenditure under check and having a bumper produce and selling the same in the market at profit rates, Better Marketing, Good quality feed, Medical amenities, Livestock arrangements besides all the other significant aspects.
