DAV Public Schools celebrates  Swami Dayanand Jayanti and Rishi Bodh Utsav

Amritsar, March 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – On the auspicious occasion of Rishi bodh Utsav a havan was organised at DAV Public School Lawrence Road. The Yajman for the sacred ceremony was the Manager of the school Dr. Pushpinder Walia. Swami Dayanand got enlightenment on this day. Dr. Pushpinder Walia along with Principal Mrs. Anita Mehra  paid rich tribute  to Swami ji  and prayed for the upliftment of all. In her address she laid stress on being a Shreshth Arya  and work towards the betterment of all .

            In her message Regional officer Punjab Zone –A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra blessed the fraternity of DAV  and encouraged everyone to move from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge.

            Principal of the school Mrs.Anita Mehra congratulated everyone and accentuated how Swami Dayanand Saraswati was a visionary and a man of liberal views. He fought for the rights of women and women education during those conservative times.
