Kiran Bedi Visits DAV Public School

Amritsar. Nov. 20 (Punjab Post Bureeau) – It was a proud moment for DAV Public School, Lawrence Road , as the school gathered to welcome the icon of Women Empowerment Ms. Kiran Bedi , the first female IPS Office active, energetic, smiling and full of zeal and enthusiasm as always, she addressed the students and the teachers in the morning and inspired them to be different and not follow the trodden path. She dedicated her book, which is based on her life to Amritsar city and all the students. She said that she would like the book to reach out to each and every student so that they can get inspiration from it and learn to face the challenges of life by following the path of truth and honesty.

                Regional Director Amritsar Zone Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrence Road and the Manager of the school Dr. K.N. Kaul Principal DAV College, Hathi Gate sent their best wishes on this occasion and advised the students to take inspiration from her life and make her their role model.  Dr. Neera Sharma the Principal of the school , was overwhelmed at the visit of .Kiran Bedi .She thanked her and gave her best wishes for her book and and hoped that her book would be a source of inspiration for the students and would help them in shaping a better future for themselves.
