Destination Amritsar For Arvind Kejriwal

Amritsar, 10 April (Punjab Post Bureau)- It is not a quest for votes that brings Arvind Kejriwal to Amritsar. The city  has long been on his ‘must visit’ list. Kejriwal sought divine blessings In Kashi too, when he took a holy dip in the famous Ghats before taking on Modi. The resplendent aura of Golden Temple and Durgiana Temple lure him like they do most Indians. But Amritsar is a destination with a difference. AAP’s national Convener wants to touch the soil of Jallianwala Bagh too. It was almost a century ago when a group of people like him stood up to the bullets of Gen Dyer. The, soaked in blood of martyrs, soil of the Bagh has a special affinity for such as Arvind. It calls out to them. Arvind Kejrilwal has heard. He would be arriving on the night of the tenth of April by Shatabdi . All of the super energised AAP supporters have been asked to at bridge over Chaatiwind Canal on the Taran Taran  Amritsar Bye pass by midday on the 11^th of April. A road show will ensue there on and would traverse  many parts of the city. Earlier, on the morning of eleventh,  Kejriwal would meet his supporters and workers at the feet of Mahatma Gandhi’s  statue in Amritsar’s Company Garden and would go with them to the temples.
