Exhibition organized by B.Voc Fashion Technology students

Amritsar, Nov. 18 (Punjab Post Bureau)- An exhibition cum sale named “The Sparkles” was organized by the students of B.Voc Fashion Technology and Bachelor of Design (Fashion and Textile designing) Dept. of BBK DAV College for Women. This exhibition showcased hand painted and block printed suits, stoles and dupattas prepared by screen printing and tie & dye technique. All the articles were prepared by the students in their classrooms under the guidance of the teachers. The three day long exhibition was inaugurated by Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra. She congratulated the department and appreciated the efforts made by the students of the design department. Such exhibition and displays are a part of the curriculum which gives an encouragement to the students for their practical exposure. The exhibition was a grand success and an overall learning experience for the students.
