Make Teaching of Language Creative- Dr. Neera Sharma

Amritsar, Mar. 8 (Punjab Post Bureau)- DAV Public School, Lawrence Road , Amritsar organised a one day Performance Enhancement Programme for the teachers teaching Hindi to Std IX & X . The  workshop was organised under the aegis of DAV CAE Regional  Training Centre , Amritsar Zone under DAV Centre of Academic Excellence , DAV CMC , New Delhi and skillfull guidance  of Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra , Regional Director , Punjab  Zone – A . The Workshop was attended by teachers from all DAV Schools of Amritsar Zone. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school, welcomed the resource persons, Mrs.Ritu Monga and Mr. Chander  Bhan Dutt from Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar. Addressing the participants, she asked them to make teaching of Hindi a creative task for the students .She added that Hindi being our National language, needs to be promoted vigorously. She advised them to add innovative activities in the class room teaching and make the class more interactive.

Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Regional Director, Punjab Zone A in her message to the teachers said that teachers must come to the level of  the students and encourage them to think out of the box. The Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College Amritsar sent his best wishes to the participants. During the workshop, the resource persons emphasised on free thinking, which has no bounds. They added that language can only develop and grow if it is not bound within walls.  They said that teachers of Hindi should be a guide to their students and supervise all the work done in the class by encouraging creative work. They presented many activities and showed power point presentations for the work that can be taken up in the class with students.
