BBK DAV bags 2nd and 3rd position in PG Dip. in Financial Services

Amritsar, 19 marc ( Punjab Post Bureau) It was a moment of pride for BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar when its students made a mark in the semester examinations of GNDU, December 2014. Kavalpreet Kaur & Ravninder Kaur, the students of Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Services (Banking and Insurance) of the college have brought laurels for the college by achieving 2^nd and 3^rd position in the University (1^st semester exams). Last year as well the students of the college bagged top merit positions in the University results for this course. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra felicitated the students and motivated them to keep up the good work done by them in future.  Prof. A.K. Dhir (HOD), Mr. Deepak Khullar, Ms. Ritika, Ms. Ritu, Ms. Neha and Ms. Deepika from the Commerce Department also congratulated the students on this feat. The PGDFS course is a professional PG diploma course which focuses on the Banking and Financial services sector. This course offers a lot of job opportunities, as this is a sunshine and ever-growing sector which is particularly suited for girls.
